 3/10/04 - 0900 Blue reports: Had a
great meal with Ron and Carol Mitchell last night (photos below), still full!
Just been mucking around with how to get to Roy Ator down there in Fort Worth,
finally got it. Heading out now for Manitowoc to see the USS COBIA and museum.

Cobia: Went to Manitowoc here in Wisconsin to see the USS
COBIA. Our tour guide was MoMM2/SS Roland Soucy, 83 yrs old who served onboard
the USS RASHER SS269 during WWII - the boat sailed out of Fremantle, West
Oz. The tour was very interesting, especially with Ron helping out also. Roland
was most impressed when I showed him my tattoo of my Dolphins, seemed to make

Blue gets to see the snow fall. At the airport, Carol and Ron Mitchell says
goodbyes over brews.
Ron on Blue's departure: Got up this morning and following
breakfast of waffles, fruit, coffee, etc, took off with Blue in the lovely
white snow.(#$^&^&*&))*) Drove the first 50 or so miles with snow
falling and some accumulation on the Interstate. Not much however. Arrived at
the Harley Davidson plant (engines) in Wauwatosa, WI. Blue and the sales clerk
had a minor thing going. After a few purchases, headed for the airport and
following check in, had a couple of Milwaukee's finest (Miller High Life) and
then had to cut him loose to board the plane for Ft. Worth. Carol and I left
the airport with sun shining and thought we had broken the Blue curse. Afraid
not. Before we got home, were back in the snow. Some accumulation on the road
and visibility < 100%. Made it home ok. Maybe it isn't Blue causing the
weather after all. Have to see what happens on the rest of his trip. If it
snows in Orlando, Mickey is going to be up tight. We had a wonderful visit with
Blue and found him to be a great guy. I am sure all will very tickled to have
him with you. I do feel honored that he elected to visit here, knowing all the
places that are available. Have a few last minute pics to send in a bit later
when I have them out of the camera. Anxious to hear about Blue's successful
flight to FWD (via Atlanta). One thing about flying with the airline he
selected is there are no lines to the head. Just stand up from your prone
position on the wing, turn around and let 'er fly. Important to remember to
turn around though.

Snow! Today it
actually snowed for an hour or so, about an inch thick perhaps, took a couple
of pics with me standing out there looking like an Aussie tourist ( not
terrorist) who hasn't experienced the 'white thing falling from the sky stuff'
before....in other words looking like a right dickhead..which is appropriate
considering who I am actually staying with at the moment! lol he he...now for
the fun bit....go out and snow shovel his pathway...for FUN !! Oh yeah, went to
HOOTERS today, and Cora, I had my picture taken with two women ..you know, some
places it IS appropriate to ask a waitress for her picture!!! - Blue
