That's me on the left and a buddy that I joined the Navy with, Alvin Stuckenborg. We were from Louisville, KY. He was on the USS AULT (DD-698) This was taken in the summer 1957. He would spend the week-end with me on the RAY when we were in port together. He loved the style of submarine life, but couldn't hack it. He also loved the way and what we ate.
