At random: "Submariners are a special brotherhood, either all come to the surface or no one does. On a submarine, the phrase all for one and one for all is not just a slogan, but reality.” -- VADM Rudolf Golosov of the Russian Navy

On Armistice Day 1945 there was a sign in Picadilly Square that said "Guiness Is Good For You". I'll go get me some and let you know later!!!

I was in Ireland for 2 weeks in Sept. Went to the Guinness Storehouse for a tour. The last stop is at the Gravity Bar on the 7th floor. There you get a free pint of fresh Guinness. For Arthur's Day on Sept. 24, I was in a pub in Limerick. We all drank a toast to Arthur Guinness at 5:59 pm (1759) to celebrate the signing of his 9000 year lease on Sept. 24, 1759.

Not warm- Cellar temperature. Which in Ireland is roughly in the high 40's to low 50's. I drank it from Sligo to Cork and it was always cool, never warm.
