Friday I placed a flag on my brother's grave at Black Hills National Cemetery. Since then it has been cloudy and rainy every day with a down pour and flash flood warning for Rapid Creek last evening. Couldn't even get Gracie out to do her duty.

Today, my grandson Kyle came over to mow my yard. Afterwards Kyle and his mother and I went to the local cemetery to place flowers on my husband's and son's graves and on my parent's graves, plus the one my little forever two-year-old niece rests in since 1944. My husband, father and grandfather got smaller flags (all I happened to have).

After we were back home, my daughter-in-law and I went through a lot of old family pictures. I sent lots home with her...downsizing, don't you know.

I sorely miss every one who slumbers in all these graves. Wish I could somehow change that, but all-in-all a very pleasant day. And I wasn't alone.

Cora

Cora,

you will be reunited with all of those you miss, in the good Lord's time.
