"added" to the rolls of employed RN's...our daughter, Katie, who graduated last evening...with honors.  The Director of the School of Nursing at Rockland Comm. Coll.  where Katie attended, made it a point of telling audience that none of the students had less than
3.5 GPA.  Our Katie maintained 3.9 GPA.  It was not a large class, which is disappointing, but the caliber of students graduating...and
already working, is wonderful.  She also rec'd her Assoc. Degree in Nursing.  She will now move on to working toward her BS in Nursing.

All I can say is "Thank God" she got her Daddy's brains.

Congrats, Patti.

Your daughter is entering one of the finest and most thankless jobs in our society.

I await the day when nurses are paid what they're worth.

Congradulations Katie (and also LB and Gary)!
She reminds me so much of a former co-workers daughter who is an RN at our local hospital. I checked into ER some months ago, laying on a gurney and feeling lonesome and abandonded, trying to sleep. All of a sudden I heard this sweeet, familiar voice saying "Mister John, now just what have you gone and done to yourself?" I opened my eyes to be treated to the sight of this lovely girl and was immediately cured of any and all ailments. There is really something mistical about a womans touch in the curing process.
BZ Katie, and to LB and Gary for raising her right!!

Congratulations to Katie
My wife has been an RN for many years and still loves her job; never been unemployed except when she chose to.
Cheers,
