At random: In 1921, a United States submarine, the R-14, having run out of fuel at sea while looking for the missing tug USS Conestoga, rigged sails from blankets and hammocks sewn together. Bunk frames were used for yardarms and booms. The torpedo loading king post for a fore mast, the torpedo loading boom for a mizzen mast and the telescoping radio mast, for the main mast. The R-14 sailed 100 miles in five days to the port of Hilo, T.H. at a speed of two knots. It has been reported in March 2016 that the Conestoga has been located 3 miles off Southeast Farallon Island, probably sinking with-in a day of leaving port. All hands lost.

Doc is moved in ok and finally got his internet service re-established. I'm not sure if he stayed with direct TV or not...he certainly wasn't happy with their service.....but he will end up with a new email addy but was going to stay with the comcast.net for a while until he figgered out (That's not a typo---that is Texanese) what email he wanted to use......

So I suspect he will be monitoring the board starting now and surfing the net for his continuing education in female anatomy, as all good corpmen do. It was too bad that ol goat had no appreciation for the medical benefits of the pictures that Doc posted on that site.....well, what would a TM know about preserving medical data?

And Patti, I passed your sentiments on to the ol buzzard!

Now that he's in Conroe we can start to monitor his power usage and find out when he's mixing up his magic potions

Well Ric, got two guest rooms set up, One bottle of wine and one bottle of military club scotch, I dont know about the loose wemon, none visable in this neighborhood, possibly many around 5 miles in the Woodlands Mall area, Tam wont let me go check them out. We do have plenty of kids though, In my half of the block we have 21 kids that I can count, all below high school age. It is a well integrated street, 3 from India, 4 Americans, 1 and 1/2 Vietnamese, and a brand new 6 bedroom house next door for sale (anyone interested?)

All that means to me is lots of noisy kids to fill those empty rooms...UGH! Had my share of that. That's why old folk don't have kids.

Curious Doc. What's the asking price for it.

To answer Runner's question about price: a mere 157,265.00, not bad for a 6 bedroom snake ranch, now if we could only convince the navy they needed a submarine base on lake conroe.

Hey Joe, $158K in Pearl River wouldn't get you the phone number of a RE Agent...
