Subject: Yesterday was....

ANZAC Day here in Oz.

For a change I marched/strolled through the streets of Rockingham with a few Shipmates ( Ralph, you have met Ian Spencer ) and we had a good day.
I last saw those guys at the Navy club as I headed over to the RSL in Port Kennedy.

Great catching up with Shipmates especially those that have gone up through the ranks, including a LT and one CMDR.

I have just recently caught up with a daughter and widow, via Facebook, of a shipmate from the 80's. He unfortunately took his own life 18 years ago on the 30th of this month. His daughter, was born later that year. I have posted pictures of her dad and she has really loved them....especially the one of him as an entrant in the HMAS ONSLOW 'Miss South Pacific' contest in 1985 enroute to San Diego.

Now, with a slight hangover, it's off to work!

Spence and I exchange emails pretty regular and Hairball does also.
Hairball's wife Rae had a brief setback, but at last email, she is doing much better.
