With the weather we are experiencing today, I went down to the Broadkill River to check it out and it began calling to me and I decided tomorrow is a good day to launch my kayak into the river for the first time this year.

My engine is like a finely tuned swiss diesel watch, well oiled and greased, got some new parts this year, (a repaired hernia) and ready to crank out some rpm's....or strokes. Gonna be fine day out their!!!

Don't forget to take your PFD and check your compensation tables for the added weight gained over the winter.

There may be something to what you said Ralph...I did seem to sit lower in the kayak than last year, or is it the entire kayak seemed to sit lower in the water???? HHHmmmmm?  The water must be less bouyant than last year....less salt I guess.
