...my friend Maureen and I took a day trip up north to the Skagit Valley and drove around and walked around in the tulip fields. Amazing sites. This is the second or third largest tulip growing area in the world. Fields full of daffodils too.

Well, if you shot a video, how did you cook it?

Cooking is not the problem, it's cleaning the damned things!

... is tulips on your organ!

The first time I heard that was when I took my family to visit my dad, who was in the hospital recovering from triple bypass surgery. My innocent (I thought) 13 year old daughter piped up and said, "Grandpa, do you know what's better than a rose on the piano?"

He responded weakly, "What's that, honey?" She gave him the punchline and he started to chuckle and then stopped abruptly, groaning in pain.

He choked out, "N-no more jokes! It hu-hurts to laugh!"

Nice job Ric, how come Maureen didn't capture footage of you tiptoeing through them?

Looks like the tulip fields in Woodburn, OR. But the fields down in Oregon are late this year. They should blooming soon with several days of 80 degrees.

Yeah, these are running about 3 weeks late this year for us too. Had snow level down to 2000 feet last night with some snow up in the passes. Darn chilly today.

Went and started South Carolina on fire. Damn Air Force guys just can't help but drop incendiary stuff out of their airplanes. Send him back home when he gets out of the slammer; I need the keys to his Porsche.
I read that Myrtle Beach is burning and that's where he and his running mates (or whatever the Air Force calls them) went to play golf and drink beer.
The jarhead behaved himself but the "zoomie" apparently is the troublemaker in the bunch.
Going to 80F here by this weekend so Michigan is starting to enjoy some of your weather; now that Blue has gone back "down under"

Yeah, quite a mess up there. 69 homes gone and a bunch of folks evacuated. So far no loss of life reported. We've had some rain aweek ago, but, the high winds and low dew points have dried everything up.
Ya know, we are going to have to get Blue to do something about this shadow that follows him around. I've asked my "Ball & Chain" to conjur up something to help the lad out. She smiled and began humming a tune I hadn't heard before. Time will tell.

Sorry ic, I didn't mean to hijack your post.
