We played a little nickel & dime poker at the bash. That game ended when I sandbagged a pat flush in 5 card draw and sucked everybody in. Made about $10, but John Clear hasn't spoken to me since.

Awww Ric, give the youngn some slack. He's getting channel fever. He'll be flying across the pond in a few more weeks. After a couple of days Stateside he'll be back to normal. Well, normal for Blue, that is.

Sorry Atkatz, you might have won a hand, "BUT" when the sticky buns were ready at mignight and we broke up, I was one of the only two winners!  Good story though! Keep 'em coming... That's about as realistic as listing all the TAD boats we rode (Ric?)...

No problem with my naval career Ric! But counting the times you were "TAD" on a boat is a wee bit over the top even for you - you might as well count all the boats brows you crossed! (BTW: I was asked why you did that in your signature by another first, hadn't noticed it myself until then).  This is quite like a subject that came up awhile back (by another) re: the number of items (metals, badges etal) on an individuals USSVI vest being inversely proportional to his time in service - remember that one?

AAAWWWHHH John are you saying that I cant count the twenty plus boats that I was on for at least a week in order to keep my subpay while I was on "Neutral" duty. Shucks. I thought that I went to sea and stood watches on them. Now lets see if I subtract all those weeks tad does that mean I can go back and serve another six months on a Modern Submarine. PLEASE.
