Thank you, guys! How'd you know, Roy? I don't hink I've ever posted it, have I?

I'm celebrating by trying to decipher a medication bill from the hospital. Did you know that when your admission status is 'observation,' you have to pay for the medications you receive while hospitalized? Medicare rule I'm told. I was there less than 48 hours, and I'm being billed $451.00.

Interesting.

Thanks again.

Cora

For that amount Cora, you probably got two aspirins and a stool softener. Dang things are getting expensive.LOL

Any how, Happy Birthday Cora.

I cetainly hope so, Don! I think I've had two birthdays since you were here.

I'm attending Cardiac Rehab now, and yesterday one of the 'therapists' asked me if I knew what my risk factors for a heart attack were. I answered, "Well, my mother and two sisters died of congestive heart failure." (Thinking she wanted a family history-type answer.) She came back with, "And your age." I just hate it when people say that. Makes me feel old. And makes me not want to go back. We all know that 'old' is as least fifteen years older than whatever age we're at now. Although right now, I feel about 90.

Cora, Happy Birthday!!!
Don't worry about your age. You truly are as old as you feel and judging by the posts you've made concerning submarine history, you've kept your mind active and sharp. I can almost garantee the medical staff questioning you about your age and it being a risk factor for heart failure feel older than all of us at the end of one of their work days. Remember a guy named Jim Fix? He wrote a book about the health benifits of running. He ran every day but died of a heart attack while in his fifties. You hang in there and don't let it get ya down.
