At random: "I propose to you a new arm of war, as formidable as it is economical. Submarine navigation, which has been sometimes attempted, but as all know without results, owing to want of suitable opportunities, is now a problematical thing no more." - Brutus de Villeroi in a letter to President Lincoln, 1862

Attached is now a complete list of the patches I still need for the display at the Branson Museum. Once the presenation is made no additions will be made as their is no way for the display to be maintained. Please
send this list to anyone you know that served on any of the boats needed and see if they would like to donate to this project - We are now 40% there and I know by May we will be 100% complete .... Thanks to any and all for your help.
Any questions e mail me at rjarenski@aol.com or cal me at either 520 744 0869 Home 520 850 1437 Cell.

Please email me or call me before sending Patches and will let you know if they are still needed to avoid duplications.

Your list (in part) goes 485, 486, 487, 486, 522.

Should the second "486" be "488", in which case I can send one of the old Sarda maru.

Depends on your definition. SS488 was started during WWII but commissioned after the end of WWII.

It has been added to my list - my list was not totally complete and all the input from people like yourself will make sure I do not miss any boat commissiioned for WWII service whether they did a war patrol or not and yes the Sarda will be part of the display --

Next week will be posting a new listing in hull number order and complete so stay tuned
