At random: Coronation ceremonies of Emperor Alexander II of Russia in 1855 were enlivened by a submarine concert. Wilhelm Bauer, a Bavarian inventor, took three musicians under the waters of Kronstadt Harbor in a submarine he had built, where they played appropriate music during the coronation. The music was distinctly heard on the surface.

"The picture on the left is Cam's High School graduation picture on June 1st, 2008.  The picture on the right is his graduation picture from Marine Boot Camp on January 9th, 2009.  What a difference seven and a half months make.

There were six Platoons with a total of 499 men graduating from KILO Company Boot Camp at MCRD in San Diego on January 9th.  Of these, Pfc. C.J. Corneliuson was the High Shooter, with a score of 328 out of a possible 350 points.

His grandmother is wearing a beautiful Eagle, Globe & Anchor Pin that tells the world that she is the PROUD GRANDMOTHER OF A US MARINE!

He may look and seem like a different person, but he's still my Cam.  He promised to 'keep his personality,' and he did."

A young man to be feared rather than be feared for.....Thank God we have so many patriots like him that place themselves in harms way to protect us.

Thank you, Cameron, for your selfless service1

I hope Cora, and his Mom, too, got a chance to see him in his dress blues.
Wait a minute , thats a no-brainer.... what does a young boot camp graduate ache to do when he gets home? If they are anything like I was, it is to strut around in my shinney new uniform!!!
Fair winds and following seas, MARINE.

Good on ya, Cameron, we are so very proud of voluntary service.
