At random: The USS NAUTILUS SSN 571 was the first submarine with a satisfactory single plant that can be used for main propulsion both surfaced and submerged.

Tim asked that I post this... I was without email for a few days due to a debit card loss... and it's 30 minutes until the "big guy" takes the midwatch.  Here ya go Timmy (we think the image was originally sent to us all by our departed shipmate Joop):

Subj: MERRY CHRISTMAS to all my friends and old shipmates ashore.......

For all my old shipmates who don't go to sea any longer, to my land lubber family and friends, and those who marched in the mud and flew in the air, may your Christmas be very Merry. Not like those spent punching holes in some far away ocean, celebrated with some of the finest shipmates you knew. It is time to be ashore with family and the memory of those OLD FRIENDS.

MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR.

It was unused... but when you get the new one, you have to remember all the places you have set up for automatic payments (I forgot about Clearwire... hence no email for a few days

Gee, Don, a computer type and you don't have a list? A program was developed a few years back that is called WORD and a list can be developed using that program. I have a '95 copy that I could send you, along with an instruction book.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year Don and thanks for the space for us to play.
