Subject: USNS Bridge T-AOE 10

My brother-in-law (Randy) flew out to Hawaii to join my nephew on the USNS Bridge for the ride back to San Diego. While the ship is manned by merchant marine sailors, his son is USN and works with the helicopters that transfer the stores, etc.

During the trip they did some replenishment and refueling of the fleet. Having never been to sea, Randy was quite impressed.

We spent quite some time talking about it yesterday.
