The above link goes to the USSVI (United States Submarine Veterans, Inc.) Facebook page where their members who have gone on “Eternal Patrol” are noted.

I’ll keep my work here going, trying to get others who were not USSVI members. You’re encouraged to look there as well as here! Obviously, there’ll be some I miss and some I duplicate.

RYDELL .. .. .. Scott Alan Rydell, age 66, was called to his Lord and Savior on March 19, 2024, after a brave battle with appendix cancer.
Born January 29, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois he carried his love for the Cubs as his family relocated to Stuart, Florida. Upon receiving his H.S. diploma he entered the Nuclear Navy where he spent six years on and off nuclear submarines. After his honorable discharge he enrolled in the Engineering program at the University of Florida where he grew his love for the Gators.
He met his wife Sharon "Sherry" Burbach Tullier at his parents' racquetball center in Stuart in May of 1984 when she was assisting a First Baptist School middle school tournament, and he asked her to play a set. They married May 5, 1985 with Sherry's three children, Madeleine, Danielle, and Damien Tullier attending. Their daughter Erika Kristin Rydell was born in 1985.
The family moved to Virginia as Scott was employed by the North Anna Power Plant for eight years. Their son Aaron Alan Rydell was born in 1988. Relocating to Middletown, Delaware, Scott was employed at the Salem Nuclear Power Plant in New Jersey where he became Control Room Operator until his retirement in 2022.
In Scott's free time he enjoyed coaching his kid's baseball teams, playing golf, going to the beach, and cruises with his family.
Scott will be laid to rest at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bear, Delaware.
