For those who enjoy a good boat race this one was pretty good.
I still miss the old Hydros running the Allison, Merlin and Rolls Royce engines.
Those were the real "Thunder Boats".
Anyway. It was a nice day and camera work was decent.
Boats get out onto the water at about 6 minutes and the race is over by about the 20 minute mark.
Enjoy!

Thanks Ric !
I used to follow this many years back, on Greenwood Lake, NY and on the Detroit River from the Roostertail deck. They were all piston engine boats back then.
Heck, I saw 1 of the Unlimited boats flip.
Exciting stuff.

I use to watch those races, and pay attention to when the other boats went after water speed records.  What has replaced the engines of the past, and why.  I also use to follow the Indy 500, and I know why the Offenhauser engine was replaced.  Never followed Nascar, or Formula I closely,  I have a hard time with Toyota competing in Nascar, but I have no problem with Honda at Indy.
