SZYMANSKI, Ted, was born on May 1, 1921 and passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019.Ted was a resident of Jacksonville, FL at the time of passing. "Ski,” was born in Youngstown, Ohio on May 1, 1921 and was a retired US Navy submarine veteran of WWII. He qualified in submarines in USS Drum (SS-228) in 1942 and was FTC(SS) when he transferred to the Fleet Reserve in 1963. He also served aboard USS Apogon (SS-308), USS Razorback (SS-394), USS Wahoo (SS-565), USS Trutta (SS-421), USS Odax (SS-484) and USS Amberjack (SS-522).

HOPKINS, Richard F. ...veteran of the Navy, submarine service, having served on the USS Pargo, Dace and Sturgeon based out of New London, Conn. He was a member and past exalted ruler of Frackville Elks Lodge 1533, Frackville American Legion Post 398...
