This was truly exciting to be old enough to remember the first lunar effort and to see the start of this one!  I love science and exporation.  If you study history, it's in our DNA for sure.

TRuly brings back the time looking at that old black and white console TV and all the moon missions. What I find funny it that they did all those things with pencil and paper and really young computers. With the technology we have today, we usually miss when searching for the door.

This brings back memories of my former company TRW.  We made the rocket engine that ferried the astronauts to, and from the lunar surface.  I believe it was the first time a rocket engine was ever restarted in space.  Best company I ever worked for - too bad Northrop had to go and buy us.

Just a fly around doesn't hold nearly the same interest for me as a landing - I just hope they make it back safe.
