Anyone install version 10? I upgraded and now have to use task manager to shut it down. Looks like chrome for a while.

I've been using FF 10 since beta1 and have had no problems. Have you tried repairing your registry?

Seems okay today but on Wednesday when I upgraded to version 10, things were not good. Locking up or very slow searches were the norm.

No problems to report....other than the usual non compatibility issues with certain programs.

Uninstalled version ten last evening, reinstalled this morning and now works great. Realized the problem may have been a case of operator error.

I finally at my sons insistence gave up on Internet Explorer and downloaded and installed Firefox 9.0.1 a few weeks ago. Yesterday without consulting me
Firefox downloaded and installed 10. Then it tells me that Kaspersky Internet Security is not compatible with Firefox 10. Firefox may not think I don't need an antivirus but I strongly disagree with them. I have also had a number of freezes since 10 was installed. So Far I am not exactly happy with Firefox 10.

You can stop this from happening by going to "TOOLS", "OPTIONS". "ADVANCED" and check the box marked "Check for Update but let me chose to install them"
I'm part of the FireFox Test program and just had a request to install FireFox 11.01 beta. I declined. I might around 11.04 or so.

Had more freezes with Firefox; none with Safari on the Mac.

I have been using FF for years, (since FF1), and have never had it freeze on me. Can't tell why you have had problems.

This version is the only one that hasn't worked correctly on the Dell desktop. Of course the Mac Notebook with Safari has no problems.

I was bout to install FF 11.01 Beta but decided to do the 10.01. The other computer is doing that right now. I'm on my Linux machine and it doesn't run the same versions of Firefox.
