Unfortunately I never met Sue, or Gary, but it was nice that she thought it might be something for me. Bottom line was that she took the time, and effort to get in touch with me. What I couldn't believe it has been 20 years since Gary's passing. I was new to this site then, but I still got to enjoy all the pictures taken at Gary and Sue's, "Bash At The Ranch".

Enough BBS folks said it was a nice thought to have a submariner reunion of sorts. Gary and Sue said they would host one. About time fleeting. I found Ron's BBS June 1997. At that time they were doing the "Run to Perth". Back those previous times the BBS sites were much more active. The Torsk work weekend started from a BBS. I'm remiss about forgetting a diesel engine running, it did result in a successful start. It was all about good volunteers that brought these things about. I'm sure I echo a BZ thanks to all of them.

Cowboy was the primary force behind me setting up this BBS back in the day - he wanted an option to Ron's LOL. I think Facebook Groups and the like have pretty much killed this type of forum.
