Iceland was a destination of ours for this spring but we ended up going to Scotland instead - LOVED it! We changed because we felt there would be more to see and do.
Any of you guys been to Iceland? If so, would you do it again? What did you most like?

We ysed to have direct flights from here and a nephew & wife spent time there which they thoroughly enjoyed even though they travelled in the winter season |

Only spent couple hours in airport (on way to Scotland, BTW). Spoke with a couple young lads who worked there. Really friendly and very proud of their country. They spoke better English than I. Flying over the land is quite beautiful and unique. Raw nature at it's best! If you are lucky you may see a volcano erupting. Most all their energy derived from ground.

When younger, we traveled IcelandAir to Europe (cheap). Stopped over at least three times.
Last year we cruised to Greenland from Amsterdam and stopped at Iceland on the way. Had a fine time, especially in the small towns.
