Master and Commander Posts: 1323 Location: Oxnard, CA | Subject: RE: U.S. Navy Attracts Japanese Americans CAPT Gordon Nakagawa was CO Naval Air Station Point Mugu when I met him. He retired, moved to, and got a job as Chair of Tactics, U.S. Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, CA. He flew sorties off a carrier over Hanoi, was shot down and was a POW in N. Vietnam for a few years. We still exchange Christmas cards. | ||
